Welcome to the Carney Hollow Studio Website.

I create one of a kind lampwork beads and glass bead jewelry, fused glass pendants, and sterling silver pendants and bracelets in my home studio. I have been making glass beads off and on for about 10 years while working full time as a registered nurse. Eventually, I had so many beads that my jewelry making obsession began. I am currently studying under master silversmith James Frappe and have incorporated many of my organic style beads into sterling silver pendants and bracelets.

I create these one of a kind beads from thin rods of Italian glass that are heated over an open flame until the glass becomes molten. The glass is then wrapped around a stainless steel rod. The glass is shaped and decorated. All of my beads are kiln annealed overnight to reduce the possibility of breakage.
